This is a typical Dutch West Indian (cunucu) house. Maybe a fisherman and his family live there. The sea looks too rough to go outside the reef right now, and the weather looks uncertain. Maybe better to just do some repairs inside or see about supplies for the next trip out. But first, best to secure everything just in case a big blow does come.
